Arsenal News: Former Gunner Nordtveit blames Bendtner’s attitude for lack of success

| September 7, 2011 | 2 Comments

According to former Arsenal player Harvard Nordtveit, Nicklas Bendtner was destined to never experience success at Arsenal due to his inability to accept criticism and his poor work ethic.

We have all heard them, the great quotes from the self-proclaimed world’s greatest striker and it seems the players to experienced the arrogance of the Dane.

Nordtveit on the topic of Nicklas Bendtner told Danish channel TV2 Sport:

You could not say much to him (about his game) because it doesn’t take much for him not to like you.

He has his own way of doing things, but he could have made more of an effort in training when he was at Arsenal.

It was disappointing for Bendtner to have so little time on the field in the last half year. But Arsene Wenger always wants to play with his best players and that’s what he did.

The revelations of Bendtner’s attitude come just after the Dane made his last minute loan switch to Sunderland after which he stated he would never consider returning to the Emirates again. It is a shame though he has such a bad attitude, as he definitely has ability after dispatching a brace on international duty for Denmark.
