Arsene Wenger has made one change from the weekends lineup with Francis Coquelin coming in for fellow Frenchman Olivier Giroud as Wenger looks to solve the goal scoring issues that has arisen in recent fixtures.

The change means Gervinho will play up front similarly to the Olympiacos and Southampton fixtures where he was effective, meaning Aaron Ramsey will play on the right wing as Coquelin plays centrally with Arteta and Cazorla.

Lukas Podolski will start on the left flank, and the backline remains unchanged with Koscielny and Djourou both on the bench.

There is no sign of Jack Wilshere as he featured recently for the U21 side, however young starlet Serge Gnabry who got his first taste of competitive first team football at the weekend has been promoted to the bench.

The gunners did not fashion a single shot at the goalie. That is why when teams clog up the md ,the gunners have a problem and will continue to be unable to make headway. So much for Wenger’s boast about his midfield.
