Arsenal News: Gunners named Premier League Club of the Year
Arsenal have been named the Premier League’s ‘club of the year’ for providing the best customer service to fans.
The new award scheme is run by the Premier League Association and tourism board VisitEngland, and while Liverpool, Fulham and Manchester City picked up awards, the Gunners took top honours for their superior service provided at the Emirates stadium.
Premier League clubs have been monitored for customer service over the past two seasons and a panel of industry experts voted Arsenal the club of the year.
All 20 clubs were judged across eight areas including ticketing, stewarding, catering, toilets and the club shop. The judges stated about Arsenal:
Their staff at every level from stewards to catering and cleaners to retail were very impressive. They clearly have a culture of high standards at Emirates Stadium and their professionalism shines through.
The awards is testament to the hard work put in by Arsenal to make matches at the Emirates stadium as an enjoyable experience as possible.
Keep up the good work!

Perhaps it was something to celebrate considering the trophy drought all these years. Good marketing/PR to the boards anyway. who knows, the award for best-selling premiership club is around the corner..

Come on guys, the award is in recognition of the good work put in by the stadium staff. Please don’t undermine their effort becos of your selfish need for a trophy. These are 2 separate things.
