It may have taken him six games, but Olivier Giroud has finally opened his goalscoring account tonight against Coventry City in the Gunners opening Capital One Cup fixture at the Emirates
The Frenchman collected a pass from the left channel by compatriot Francis Coquelin and hammered home with his favoured left foot beyond Joe Murphy from approximately 12 yards
Congratulations for breaking your duck Giroud, the Gunners are currently up 1-0 at half time at the time of writing.
