Team News: Gunners unchanged as Coquelin starts, Cazorla out wide

Arsene Wenger has made opted to name the same starting eleven that beat Swansea in midweek with the impressive Francis Coquelin retaining his place alongside Abou Diaby in the middle of the park shielding the defence, with Jack Wilshere in the more advanced role.

Mertesacker will once again partner captain Thomas Vermaelen in defence, with the standard full backs of Kieran Gibbs and Bacary Sagna starting once again. Laurent Koscielny does however return to the bench after serving his one match ban.

Theo Walcott starts on wing to allow of Olivier Giroud to spearhead the attack, with Santi Cazorla again on the left hand side.

Other notable news is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski miss the match due to illness, with the likes of Emannuel Frimpong and Andrei Arshavin providing Wenger options from the bench.

    So Wenger has been offered 30 million by PSG. Let him take the money and go.He will find result are of utmost importance and failure is not an option.
    Already 2 goals down,I don’t see how the gunners can salvage anything from this game.The gunners were lucky to escape a penalty call when a gunners wrapped his arms around a Blue. The ref could have awarded a spot but didn’t.
    I don’t know but QPR played negative to win. It’s not in Wenger’s nature to play anti soccer and that’s why the gunners are losing games to stronger teams.

    Yeah…and we just lost the game 2-1 !! we played terribly on the first half…what was Sagna doing!! he was terrible today…to be honest he has been quite bad for quite some time now…time to bring Jenkinson on the first team if wenger doesnt buy a new right back. Second half was a different story,Arsenal dominated but wasted too many chances
